Tanpa Diawasi Orang Tua, Seorang Anak Beri Makan Adiknya Sekrup

NOVA.id - Kejadian naas baru saja terjadi pada seorang bayi yang baru berusia 37 hari di Tiongkok.

Pasalnya, bayi malang tersebut ditinggalkan oleh sang ibunda di dalam rumah bersama kakaknya yang baru berusia 3 tahun.

Sang kakak yang juga masih berusia batita ini memberi makan adiknya dengan sekrup sebanyak 3 kali.

Naas, saat sang ibu kembali ke rumahnya, bayi malang tersebut ditemukan dengan mulut penuh busa seperti yang dilansir dalam Metro.co.uk pada 9 Juni 2018.

Bayi tersebut langsung dilarikan ke rumah sakit setempat untuk mendapatkan pertolongan.

Namun demikian, pihak rumah sakit menolak untuk melaksanakan prosedur medis karena dianggap terlalu berisiko.

Akhirnya, bayi malang ini dirujuk ke Rumah Sakit Anak Zhengzhou, Provinsi Henan, China Tengah.

Melalui proses X-ray, diketahui bahwa ketiga sekrup tersebut berada di perut bayi.

Para dokter spesialis dan petugas medis segera melakukan tindakan dengan peralatan endoskopi untuk mengeluarkan sekrup yang tertelan oleh bayi.

"Kami harus menggunakan gastroscope 7,5-milimeter (0,3 inci), yang kami khawatirkan akan terlalu tebal untuk bayi. Itu tentu saja risiko, tetapi kami memutuskan itu lebih baik daripada operasi," ungkap Dr. Li Xiaoqin.

Beruntung, tiga sekrup tersebut tidak melukai pencernaan sang bayi dan kini berada dalam tahap pemulihan.

Dokter juga memberikan saran kepada sang ibu untuk tidak meninggalkan anak-anaknya dibawah pengawasan orang dewasa.

"Anak-anak dapat dengan mudah membuat keputusan yang salah tanpa mengetahui risikonya," saran Dr. Li.
